Not that he was the greatest president or anything, but the president is really just a talking head from a pre-selected list of people that will do the bidding of the large corporations (ergo, members of the Bilderberg Group). I don’t know all of the different viewpoints of the Occupy Wall Street lobby, nor do I know all of the view points of the Tea Party lobby. But, one thing I do find amusing is the fact that they both oppose one another.

In my honest opinion, we aren’t far from a revolution; or at least the need for one. I’m not saying that we should drag the members of the Federal Reserve out on the street like Gadhafi, but I believe that the Federal Reserve Act needs to be completely abolished. It was the beginning of the end of the chance for the normal American to achieve wealth or at least to get out from under debt. Then the inter-state banking regulations were abolished that led to credit cards and being brainwashed into thinking that if you do not live beyond your means and be a good consumer than you are not a good American.

I could go on and on, but what is the point? We still live in the greatest nation in the world, capitalism is certainly not flawless but it is far more advanced than socialism or other forms. The biggest issue is that the gap between the richest 1% and the rest of us is growing at an exponential rate. With great power comes great responsibility and in this country money is power. Lobbying and campaign donations are nothing more than a greasing of the palm, so to speak. If the lawmakers and regulators exist in the class that they are trying to govern and then we’ll see real change. The laws that they pass do not affect them negatively, they only affect us negatively and help the rich get richer.

I’m not opposed to the wealthy, because I would certainly like to be wealthy, I’m opposed to rampant corruption and distrust, the loss of our basic human rights that were earmarked into the Patriot Act and then shoved down our throats like it passed legislation to protect us. Look at the similarities to the rise of Adolf Hitler to power and compare it to what is going on now. You will be astonished at how history is repeating itself. That is not an exaggeration. It is fact.
